Maren Morris Performs 'I Could Use a Love Song' at the 2017 ACM Awards

After being awarded new female vocalist of the year at the ACM Awards, Maren Morris took the Las Vegas stage to perform her HERO heartbreak ballad "I Could Use a Love Song." With a newly cropped hairdo, Morris delivered a powerful rendition of the new single, receiving a standing ovation in response.

"I don't know why I'm in shock right now -- I knew this was going to happen," Morris said, accepting her award. "But I'm just so grateful, and this year has been the best year of my life."

"I wanted [fans] to see a different side [of me] that they haven’t heard before," Morris told Billboard in March about her decision to release 'Love Song' as her next single. "Which is a really vulnerable, but insightful look into a heartbreak. It’s not a poor, pitiful me type of song, it’s my personality and it’s really self-reflective... It’s sort of owning up to your faults and hoping that you’re not playing to that "heartbroken girl going through a breakup" clich√©."
