Remember the First Time We Heard Miley Cyrus Perform 'Jolene'?

The 2012 'Backyard Sessions' version has been viewed 94 million times.

Dolly Parton and goddaughter Miley Cyrus brought the house down on The Voice on Tuesday night (Nov. 29) with their moving rendition of Parton's 1973 hit "Jolene." But remember the first time we saw the "Wrecking Ball" singer perform the song in her backyard in 2012? Before Cyrus took a hard left turn with her 2013 smash Bangerz album, she posted a series of "Backyard Sessions" videos in which the then-20-year-old singer and her band played covers of songs by Bob Dylan, Melanie, James Shelton and more, including Parton's iconic smash.

In the years since, Cyrus has made "Jolene" a staple of her live shows and TV appearances, but in honor of her Voice version, we thought it might be fun to go back to the yard for the twangy original, which, not for nothing, has racked up 94 million views to date.
