Jerry Greer, the 19 year-old son of country singer Craig Morgan and wife Karen Greer, is missing after a boating accident this weekend. According to a statement from Morgan's label, Black River Entertainment, recent Dickson County High School graduate Jerry "went missing yesterday following a boating accident on Kentucky Lake in Humphreys County, Tennessee. Recovery efforts to locate him are underway."

The Tennessean reported that Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis said two teens were spotted tubing on the Tennessee River on Sunday when they fell into the water. Witnesses said Greer, who was wearing a life jacket, never came back up. Crews worked through the night searching for him and requested additional resources for the efforts on Monday morning (July 11).

Country Music Turns to God in Turbulent Social Period

The paper reported that Greer was close to his dad, an Army veteran whose hits include "Tough," "Almost Home" and "That's What I Love About Sunday." Morgan is also the host of Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors on the Outdoor Channel, where he travels around the world, sometimes with his son in tow.

Morgan's labelmate, Kelsea Ballerini, tweeted out her prayers for the family.

Other country stars also expressed support.
