Willie Nelson's pot company, Willie's Reserve, has posted a number of new job opportunities in its Colorado division, including slots for Compliance Office, Bookkeeper, Production Manager, Sales Director and Extractor.

Before you pack up your beat-up acoustic and tie-dye tapestries, though, you should know these are real jobs that require some actual background experience. If you want to work for the company that plans to offer Coloradans a wide range of marijuana products grown by independent farmers starting this summer, you'll need to have some serious credentials.

For instance, the Director of Extraction/Lead Extractor position seeks someone who will be responsible for the company’s "overall extraction setup, staffing, equipment purchasing, processing protocols, strategy, and day to day production while supervising a team of extraction technicians." Qualified candidates will need to have "strong interpersonal and communication skills," be "highly motivated [and] detail oriented," be able to implement a consistent production program and have two-plus years of experience in the cannabis and/or commercial laboratory industries. A degree in chemistry/biochemistry/engineering and mechanics is preferred.

Bragging rights might be enough, but from the looks of it the pay isn't bad, either. The Production Manager gig pays $65,000 plus performance based incentives.
