Zac Brown Band’s new video for "Remedy" is the first installment in a trilogy. The group shared the visual Wednesday (June 15) along with this plot summary: “To escape from her self-destructive lifestyle and her alcoholic mother, a young woman runs into the forest to connect with her heritage, to find love and knowledge in a world where she must struggle to survive emotionally… When communication becomes impossible, the heritage of your ancestors, forgiveness and love, are the only way to heal.”

Zac Brown Band Makes History on Country Airplay Chart

“Remedy” appeared last year on the Zac Brown Band’s Jekyll + Hyde album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Brown penned the tune with Niko Moon, Wyatt Durrette and blues singer Keb' Mo'. It’s a strange amalgamation of genres -- there’s an arena folk sing-along portion, a vaguely Celtic section, and a snappy breakbeat that forges a path toward funk.

Zac Brown Band’s most recent single, “Castaway,” is at No. 22 on the Country Airplay chart this week. The other two songs that will be included in the band's short film are “Tomorrow Never Comes” and “I’ll Be Your Man (Song for a Daughter).”
