Tim McGraw's new single "Top of the World" has got him chatting with NASA astronaut Scott Kelly.

McGraw tweeted to NASA Monday, teasing the song with a video saying that he thought the astronauts at the International Space Station might like it -- given its theme and all.

The space station replied and the back-and-forth continued, as McGraw suggested maybe they would fly over his next concert and offered some praise to the astronauts' work.

Astronaut Scott Kelly responded and the conversation continued.

As surly astronauts don't converse with music stars and music stars don't connect with astronauts every day, surely both sides are feeling on "Top of the World" after these interactions.

Here's hoping they actually do meet up in person someday.
