iHeartMedia to Simulcast CMT Music Awards

iHeartMedia will simulcast the CMT Music Awards for first time, Billboard can reveal.

The multi-platform media company will serve as the official radio partner for the June 10 ceremony and has committed to simulcasting this year's live show across more than 120 iHeartMedia Country radio stations.

iHeartMedia’s The Bobby Bones Show, CMT After MidNite with Cody Alan, The Michael J Show, The Boxer Show and The Crook & Chase Countdown will also be on-location to air interviews with award nominees, performers and celebrity guests.

The 2015 CMT Music Awards will be held at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena from 8pm ET.

Among the performers appearing at the event, which will air live on CMT, are Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Sam Hunt, Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban. Billboard exclusively reported last week that Lady Antebellum and EDM artist Zedd will team up for a performance.

Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow and Erin Andrews will host the 2015 CMT Music Awards. Carrie Underwood leads all artists with five nominations, ahead of Lady A and Chesney with four nods apiece.
