Today Billboard is exclusively premiering a new track from the two brothers in Canadian DJ duo DVBBS. Check out "Pyramids," a powerful track featuring Sanjin, below.

DVBBS releases have repeatedly topped the Beatport charts, and the group was ranked 20th in the DJ Mag Top 100. A vocal remix of their song "Tsunami" hit No. 1 in the U.K.

"Pyramids" channels the same percussive intensity of "Tsunami" but mixes it with Jamaican influences. "It feels so good bring back our reggae roots," the duo tells Billboard. "We've been wanting to crossover with a reggae vibe for quite some time. It all started at hotel in Sweden with our homie Sanjin. The next day we hit a studio in Amsterdam and the track was coming to life."

Sanjin wasn't the only collaborator who played an important role. The brothers also wanted to do something with Dropgun, a Russian trio whose track "Amsterdam" attracted DVBBS's attention. "When we sent the record over [to Dropgun], they added the final piece to the puzzle," DVBBS note.

Soon you'll be able to hear the song blasting out of movie speakers near you. The duo adds, "We all knew it was going to be a special record when a major Hollywood movie requested it as their theme song prior to its release."
