Electric Daisy Carnival 2014 Sees Its Second Death

Following one death already reported at the 400,000-person Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas over the weekend, another man has died after attending the EDM festival.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that Sunday the 25-year-old Anthony Anaya of Everett, Washington, was found unconscious Sunday night in his hotel room at the Vdara before later dying.

The Associated Press reported via the Sun that Anaya had attended EDC. Medical examiners will need the results of blood toxicology tests before they can say how Anaya died. 

Police told the Sun nearly 800 people were treaded for medical conditions during the three-night festival, but only 25 were taken to a hospital for treatment.
