Krewella, Alvin Risk and more will play the one-day event, which will emphasize international child survival.
Tiësto will headline the first-ever Thank You Festival, a multi-act music showcase presented by the Global Citizen movement in partnership with World Childhood Foundation. The fest, which will recognize U.S. efforts to eliminate globla child deaths over the past 25 years as well as stress the needed support for the world's children, will take place on June 26 at Merriweather Post Pavilion near Washington, D.C.
Along with Tiësto, Above & Beyond, Krewella and Alvin Risk have been confirmed as the Thank You Festival's initial performers, with more to be announced later. Tickets go on sale this Friday (Apr. 11), and 100 free tickets for the event, produced by AEG Live, will be given away at Global Citizen's web site.
