The disco-house pulse of the track is sure to please fans craving new music from the French duo of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter.
A number of prominent and disparate artists have been linked to the new album, including Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder, Panda Bear (a.k.a Noah Lennox of Animal Collective), Chilly Gonzales and Paul Williams. Daft Punk's reps would not verify the record's collaborators.
As reported earlier Saturday, Daft Punk's follow-up to 2005's "Human After All" will be released May 21 on the group's Daft Life imprint through Columbia Records, and is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
The album, as it appears on iTunes, lists 13 tracks and retails for $11.99. The randomaccessemories.com site plays the same filter-house loop heard in the second "SNL" commercial and a link off the band’s helmeted alien logo (which appears after clicking on the band's logo) takes you to myplaydirect.com where vinyl and CD pre-orders can be purchased.
The vinyl, which is a "180 gram double vinyl gatefold," retails for $39.98 and includes a digital album download code and an LP size booklet. The CD is being sold for $12.98.
