The Wynn Resort’s DJ Roster of Afrojack, Diplo and More Gets Animated: First Look

But they’ve again decided to trot out their 38 total fillies in an animated style, this time with the help of “World of Warcraft” creators Blizzard Entertainment. We’ve got an exclusive peep of the totally awesome teaser clip below. It has the vibe of a Technicolor “Take on Me,” featuring uncanny likenesses of the DJs, and all the energy and possibility of a night out at the Wynn.

Jonathan Shecter, Wynn Director of Programming, tells Billboard exclusively how it all happened:

“We met Rob Pardo and Nick Carpenter from Blizzard during one of their visits to XS," he said. "Great guys, and we saw how much they loved the music. We arrived at the idea of working together, tapping into Blizzard’s talent resources to create animated content featuring our venues and DJs. The timing was right with our 2013 roster, so we tackled the seemingly herculean task of animating all these DJs in one video. Once they started working on it we saw how incredible it was going to be. We worked behind the scenes to get everyone on board -- artists, managers, agents, David Guetta’s track [‘She-Wolf’ featuring Sia]. We are grateful to all our partners.”

According to Angello, a stickler for all things creative, the result rocks. “This video is amazing because it captures the diversity of the DJ roster at Wynn, which I’m happy to be a part of,” he told Billboard exclusively as well. “There’s nothing quite like Vegas. These are among the best venues in the world and with a line-up of DJs like this, 2013 is going to be a very exciting year.”
