The Electric Daisy Carnival is returning to the New York area on May 17 and 18 for a second year, this time with a new venue. The massive electronic dance music festival is moving from a parking lot in New Jersey to the comfy confines of Citi Field in Queens, the home of the Mets.

Tickets for EDC New York go on sale Feb. 8 and start at $159. Insomniac is again producing the festivities and will be working with RPM Worldwide, the team behind Pacha New York.

Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella said in a statement that fans will be treated to a "multi-sensory experience" at the festival. Artists will be announced at a later date.

Last year's EDC New York took place in New Jersey, largely in the parking lot outside of MetLife Stadium where the NFL's Jets and Giants play. Performers included Afrojack, Avicii, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, Danny Tenaglia, Fatboy Slim, R3HAB and Hot Natured (Jamie Jones & Lee Foss).

EDC also stages festivals in Chicago, Puerto Rico, Orlando and Las Vegas, its mothership event.
