Ed Sheeran is on his way to a third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, according to industry forecasters. Those in the know suggest his new guest-filled release, No.6 Collaborations Project, could launch atop the tally with over 170,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 18.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the July 27-dated Billboard 200 chart (where Sheeran may bow at No. 1) is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s websites on Sunday, July 21.

Sheeran previously led the Billboard 200 with ÷ (Divide) in 2017 and X (Multiply) in 2014.

No.6 Collaborations Project features Sheeran on each track, partnering up with a galaxy of stars from across many genres of music. The set has already launched Billboard Hot 100-charting hits with “I Don’t Care” (Sheeran and Justin Bieber), “Cross Me” (Sheeran featuring Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock), “Beautiful People” (Sheeran featuring Khalid) and “Blow” (Sheeran with Chris Stapleton and Bruno Mars). Other guests on the album include Camila Cabello, Eminem, H.E.R., Travis Scott and Skrillex.
