The sextet's new album confirms them a consistent leader among K-pop girl groups in America.
Once again, GFriend's latest chart performance solidies them as a consistently high-charting K-pop girl group in America.
The sextet's latest EP with Fever Season debuts at No. 10 on Billboard's World Albums chart dated July 13, 2019. With that, GFriend earns their sixth Top 10 entry on the chart and eight overall entry, following their Time for Us album that hit No. 12 earlier this year in January. Their second entry this year continues the group's streak of earning two World Album entries every eligible year of their career to date.
The group first appeared on World Albums early in 2016 with their Snowflake EP (which debuted at No. 10 that February) and followed up later that year with their full-length LOL (which peaked at No. 7 in July). They scored two entries in 2017 with March's The Awakening (No. 5, their peak position on the chart to date) and August's Parallel (No. 10). In 2018, the women scored twice again with May's Time for the Moon Night (which hit No. 6) and Sunny Summer (No. 12). And this year, GFriend confirms their consistency with Time for Us and Fever Season.
