As “Act” rules Rhythmic radio, the song looks to challenge for other airplay top honors in the near future. The single advances into the runner-up rank on Rap Airplay with a 3-2 boost, helped by a 7% jump in audience in the week ending June 30. It likewise gains one spot on the on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart (4-3), despite a 2% dip to 20.5 million in audience in the same tracking period.
“Act” also holds at the No. 2 position on the plays-based Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop ranking, with virtually a level amount of week-over-week plays.
On the all-genre Radio Songs chart, “Act” lifts 27-22 through a 7% climb to 36.3 million in audience. The gain grants the duo its first credited appearance in the upper half of the 50-position list.
