The track also surges on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Blanco Brown scores his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated June 22), as his debut single "The Git Up" opens at No. 66.

The track arrives with 8.8 million U.S. streams and 15,000 downloads sold in the week ending June 13, according to Nielsen Music, as it also debuts at No. 8 on the all-genre Digital Song Sales chart.

"The Git Up" first appeared on Billboard's charts last week, when it debuted on Hot Country Songs at No. 38. It jumps to No. 13 this week.

The track is being aided by a viral dance challenge on TikTok and YouTube. On May 15, Brown himself posted a tutorial, which has since racked up over one million global views. (Five days earlier, fellow artist Lainey Wilson posted a video of her and Brown performing the dance, which has tallied over 2 million clicks to date.)

Brown concurrently blasts from No. 41 to No. 3 on the Emerging Artists chart.
