Maluma Scores 13th No. 1 On Latin Airplay Chart With 'HP'

Plus, Wisin & Yandel, Romeo Santos, Lunay & Calibre 50 land new top 10s.

Maluma logs his 13th No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart as “HP” ascends 7-1 on the June 8-dated tally. The song speeds up the list thanks to a 59% push in audience impressions (to 15.4 million in the week ending June 2), according to Nielsen Music.

“HP” is the first single from his fourth studio album 11:11, which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums tally (dated June 1).

“HP” lands at the top of the list in its 11th week and earns the 25-year-old his second chart leader of the year. It follows “Créeme” with Karol G which ruled Latin Airplay for one week.

Maluma claimed his first No. 1 only four years ago as “Borro Cassette,” the second single from his sophomore album Pretty Boy Dirty Boy, crowned the tally in its 15th week (Nov. 21, 2015).

Concurrently, “HP” rises 4-1 on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart. It’s his 12th leader on the list.

Wisin & Yandel & Romeo Santos: Elsewhere, Wisin & Yandel and Romeo Santos each earn a new top 10 as “Aullando,” their second collaborative effort, lifts 16-10 on Latin Airplay in its eighth frame. The duo collects their 24th top 10. Romeo, meanwhile, gathers his 18th top 10 on the list.

“Aullando” is Wisin & Yandel’s third straight top 10. It follows their featured role on Ricky Martin’s “Fiebre,” and the duo’s own “Reggaeton En Lo Oscuro,” both former leaders.

“Aullando” lifts with 8.7 million in audience impressions (up 29%) and moves up the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart with a 10-6 jump.

Lunay Arrives: Elsewhere, one the Latin Rhythm Airplay tally, 19-year-old Lunay’s “Soltera,” with Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny, glides 12-7. Their first collaboration earns the Puerto Rican Latin trap act his first top 10 on the list. He first appeared on the March 3-dated list when “Luz Apaga” with Ozuna, Rauw Alejandro and Lyanno debuted and peaked at No. 24.

While “Soltera” is the first top 10 for Lunay, it marks Daddy Yankee’s 46th time in the top tier. He continues to extend his record for the most top 10s on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart.

For Bad Bunny, the song’s rise earns him his sixth top 10 and first of the year, after he secured a spot in the penthouse with “Mia,” his collaboration with Drake, which led for six nonconsecutive weeks.

Calibre 50 Steps Up: Lastly, over on the Regional Mexican Songs airplay chart, Calibre 50 locks a spot in the top 10 with new single “Simplemente Gracias” moves 14-8. 

The song rallied with a 44% percent jump in audience impressions (5.03 million) earned in the week ending June 2, taking the Greatest Gainer honors of the week.

“Simplemente” earns the group its 20th top 10 and second of the year. The norteño group previously ruled the list with “Por Qué Cambiaste De Opinión,” its 13th No. 1.
