After the members spent months apart, fans showed major love for the new EP and its title track.

After spending the past year touring multiple cities throughout North America and Europe and spreading their name with new activities, A.C.E's determination in the K-pop scene pays off in a new way.

The street-performance-team-turned-boy-band see their new EP Under Cover debut at No. 9 on Billboard's World Albums chart, marking their debut entry on the tally. Previous to this EP, A.C.E had released their A.C.E Adventures in Wonderland album that included previously released singles as well as new songs. "Under Cover," the EP's title track and lead single, also bows on World Digital Song Sales at No. 23 this week too.

While this does mark Jun, Wow, Donghun, Byeongkwan and Chan's first time on World Albums, the band had previously hit the World Digital Song Sales chart. A.C.E's debut single "Cactus" peaked at No. 21 upon its release in 2017.

Despite the band's young age, the Under Cover EP is a bit of a special homecoming for A.C.E after different members in the group had spent time participating in television singing competition shows to be part of temporary-but-potentially popular boy bands. Chan and Jun joined the second-chance idol show The Unit while remaining members Donghun, Wow and Byeongkwan participated in another competition titled Mix Nine. Despite Chan, Donghun and Byeongkwan eventually landing winning spots to be part of the bands in their respective programs, only Chan spent time promoting outside of A.C.E as the debut of the winning Mix Nine team was ultimately canceled.

But with new music that not only showcases growth from the band ("Under Cover" is not only showing off a mature, darker side of the band but incorporates hooky pop elements to intrigue casual listeners) but embrace their ability to adopt different styles ("Do It Like Me" is a classic, hard-hitting dance track while "Mr. Bass" delivers a New Jack Swing vibe), Under Cover was sure to be a treat for fans eager to see the band back together as five once again.
