Chayanne performs as part of "Desde El Alma Tour" at Coliseo Jose M. Agrelot on May 3, 2019 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Chayanne impacts the Hot Tours recap dated May 11, 2019, with the influx of eight new reports from his ongoing Desde el Alma Tour, combining to $4 million and 34,797 tickets sold, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore.

After spending the first quarter of 2019 in Latin America, Chayanne returned to the U.S., highlighted by shows at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden (New York), the WaMu Theater (Seattle, Wash), and the Bert Ogden Arena (Edinburg, Texas). His most successful outing from the tour’s latest leg was his April 13 performance at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif., where he grossed $666,000 and sold 5,847 tickets.

These newest grosses send Chayanne’s career earnings past the $100 million mark, totaling $102.3 million. This is a combination of the $92.9 million he has grossed as a solo headliner, and $9.4 million he has earned as a co-headliner with Marc Anthony, Alejandro Fernandez and Marco Antonio Solis.

Hailing from Puerto Rico, the Latin superstar has done robust business in Spanish-speaking markets. The 13 highest-grossing engagements of his career come from Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, topped by his six-show run at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional from March 4-15, 2015 ($4.1 million). After the most recent tracking period closed, Chayanne reported an additional $2 million earned at his May 3-4 stint at San Juan’s Coliseo de Puerto Rico.

Chayanne’s latest release, En Todo Estare, became his fifth No. 1 entry on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart when it ascended to the pole position on Sept. 13, 2014. He first reached the chart’s summit with Grandes Exitos on the chart dated April 20, 2002, and first debuted on the chart at No. 37 with Provocame on the chart dated July 24, 1993.

The Desde el Alma Tour has reported grosses of $27.6 million since launching at the SAP Center in San Jose on Aug. 23, 2018 (current through April 27, 2019). The tour will continue in North America throughout May and then head to Mexico and Argentina, before closing at Santiago’s Movistar Arena on November 23.
