Daddy Yankee lands his first leader on the tally since 'Despacito.' Plus, Madonna and Maluma move up.
Daddy Yankee’s “Con Calma,” featuring Snow, jumps to the top of Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart (dated May 4) in its 13th week with a 2-1 bump. The track becomes Yankee’s sixth No. 1 on the list, which blends airplay, digital sales and streaming data. It's the first No. 1 for Snow, in his first visit to the chart.
“Con Calma” crowns the chart thanks largely to its increase in streams and sales after its Katy Perry-assisted remix was released April 19. The song logged 12 million U.S. streams in the week ending April 25, according to Nielsen Music (up 20% from prior frame), and also jumps 4-1 on Latin Streaming Songs for a second total week at the summit.
Meanwhile, the song re-enters the all-genre Digital Song Sales chart at No. 11 on registering 13,000 downloads sold, a whopping 388% boost. The big gain places “Con Calma” atop the Latin Digital Song Sales tally (3-1) for a fourth week in charge.
