The track is the duo's second No. 1 from its LP "Trench."

Twenty one pilots return to No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Songs airplay chart, with "Chlorine" climbing 2-1 on the April 27-dated list.

The song is the duo's fifth leader on the ranking and second from its latest LP, Trench, following "Jumpsuit" last summer. In between, "My Blood" reached No. 2 in December.

On the all-rock-format Rock Airplay chart, "Chlorine" bullets at its No. 4 high, earning a new weekly best 7.6 million audience impressions (up 8%), according to Nielsen Music.

"Chlorine" is also bubbling under the Pop Songs tally, up 15% in plays. The act is seeking its fifth entry on the list and second from Trench, after "My Blood" reached No. 34 in January.

Trench debuted at No. 1 on Top Rock Albums and No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in October 2018, earning 175,000 equivalent album units in its first week, the twosome's best single-week unit count.
