Three Days Grace now boasts 15 No. 1s, while Shinedown has the third-most top 10s.

Three Days Grace extends its record for the most No. 1s in the 38-year history of Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart, as "Right Left Wrong" rises 2-1 on the April 20-dated tally.

Now with 15 Mainstream Rock Songs leaders, the band pushes further ahead of runners-up Shinedown and Van Halen, each with 13.

Here's a look at the acts with the top No. 1 totals in the tally's archives:

Most Mainstream Rock Songs No. 1s

15, Three Days Grace
13, Shinedown
13, Van Halen
10, Tom Petty (solo and with the Heartbreakers)
9, Aerosmith
9, Disturbed
9, Godsmack
9, Metallica

"Right Left Wrong" is Three Days Grace's third consecutive Mainstream Rock Songs No. 1, marking the group's fourth set of at least three chart-toppers in a row. The band has already achieved five straight, from "Chalk Outline" (September 2012) through  "I Am Machine" (February 2015). That streak marked a chart record until Disturbed's "A Reason to Fight" (which "Right Left Wrong" dethrones) became the rockers' record sixth straight leader in March.

All three singles from Three Days Grace's most recent album, Outsider, have led Mainstream Rock Songs. The set debuted at No. 3 on the Hard Rock Albums chart and No. 24 on the Billboard 200 in March 2018.

As for the aforementioned Shinedown, "Monsters," the third single from the band's album Attention Attention, rises 11-10 on Mainstream Rock Songs to become the Brent Smith-led act's 25th top 10.

Shinedown ties Foo Fighters for the third-most top 10s in the chart's history.

Most Mainstream Rock Songs Top 10s

28, Tom Petty (solo and with the Heartbreakers)
26, Van Halen
25, Foo Fighters
25, Shinedown
24, Aerosmith
24, Godsmack

Each of Shinedown's 25 top 10s have charted since 2003, marking the most of any act in that period. Five Finger Death Punch and Seether follow with 21 apiece in that span.

Should "Monsters" rule Mainstream Rock Songs, it would become Shinedown's fourth straight leader on the list, slotting the band into sole possession of the second-most leaders all time (14), one behind Three Days Grace.
