Juice WRLD Set for First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 With 'Death Race for Love'
Juice WRLD is on course for his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as industry forecaster expect the rapper’s second solo full-length studio album, Death Race for Love, to open atop next week’s tally. Prognosticators suggest the album could earn over 150,000 equivalent album units in the week ending March 14.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the March 23-dated Billboard 200 chart (where Death Race could return to No. 1) is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s websites on Sunday, March 17.
Juice WRLD previously visited the top 10 with a pair of albums – both in 2018. WRLD on Drugs, his collaborative set with Future, debuted and peaked at No. 2 (Nov. 3, 2018-dated chart), while Juice WRLD’s debut studio album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, climbed to a No. 8 peak on Aug. 11.
Other albums aiming for notable debuts on next week’s Billboard 200 include Maren Morris’ Girl, Dido’s Still On My Mind, Amanda Palmer’s There Will Be No Intermission and David Gray’s Gold in a Brass Age.
