Blueface’s breakthrough hit “Thotiana” breaks into the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart with a 13-10 jump on the chart dated Feb. 16.
The song’s ascent comes largely from streaming gains from the proven Internet favorite. “Thotiana” holds at No. 8 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart, where it debuted on the Feb. 9 chart, but increases its haul to 25 million U.S. clicks in the week ending Feb. 7, according Nielsen Music, up 12 percent from the prior period.
While streams do the heavy lifting for the song, both digital sales and radio airplay are beginning to show signs of life. “Thotiana” debuts at No. 17 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart and records 4,000 downloads sold in the week ending Feb. 7. It concurrently opens at No. 45 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, with 3.6 million in format audience in the week ending Feb. 10, per Nielsen Music.
