Plus: New albums from Maggie Rogers & Cody Johnson set for sizable bows.

Future is on course for his sixth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, according to industry forecasters. Those in the know suggest his new effort, Future Hendrxx Presents: The WIZRD, could launch atop the tally with perhaps 110,000 to 130,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Jan. 24. The set was released on Jan. 18 via Freebandz/Epic Records.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multimetric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the Feb. 2-dated Billboard 200 chart (where WIZRD could bow at No. 1) is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s websites on Sunday, Jan. 27.

Future previously topped the Billboard 200 with HNDRXX (March 18, 2017), his self-titled album (March 10, 2017), Evol (Feb. 27, 2016), What a Time to Be Alive (with Drake, Oct. 10, 2015) and DS2 (Aug. 8, 2015). If The WIZRD does bow at No. 1, it will also secure Future his 11th top 10 effort.

Other albums shaping up for sizable debuts on next week’s chart include Maggie RogersHeard It in a Past Life and Cody Johnson’s Ain’t Nothin’ to It. The former could bow in the top 10 with perhaps 35,000 units, while the latter is aiming to start in the top 20 with around 30,000 or more.
