Plus, Posty’s 'Wow' races into the top 10 after its first full tracking week.

Post Malone and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower” shines atop the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with a 2-1 climb on the ranking dated Jan. 12.

The move secures Post Malone’s third No. 1, following the 14-week champ “Rockstar,” featuring 21 Savage in 2017-2018 and the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “Psycho,” which led for one week last May. Swae Lee, meanwhile, collects his first victor as a solo artist. As one-half of Rae Sremmurd, he reigned with the duo’s “Black Beatles,” featuring Gucci Mane, for seven weeks in 2016-17.

“Sunflower” appears on the soundtrack to the animated film Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The collaboration gains 3-2 on R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs, with a 12 percent bump to 40.7 million U.S. clicks in the week ending Jan. 3, according to Nielsen Music. It also retains its No. 1 rank on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales for a fifth week, despite an 8 percent slide to 40,000 sold in the same period.

Though “Sunflower” has yet to make headway on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, it has strong traction on rhythmic and pop formats. The song pushes 4-2 on the Rhythmic Songs airplay chart through a 6 percent jump in plays in the week ending Jan. 6, according to Nielsen Music, and crests at its No. 11 peak on Pop Songs for a third straight frame, though it picks up 4 percent in weekly spins.

Post "Wows" Even More: In addition to Post Malone’s new coronation, he collects his 11th top 10 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs as “Wow” darts 14-7 after its first full tracking week.

The Christmas Eve surprise release shoots 16-3 on R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs (26.3 million plays, up 74 percent) and bumps 4-2 on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales (24,000; down 5 percent).

The standalone single, produced by Frank Dukes and Post’s frequent collaborator Louis Bell, quickly ignites rhythmic radio, opening at No. 36 on the Rhythmic Songs chart.
