Plus, Lil Baby hits a new peak.

Meek Mill returns to No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Dec. 15) to become the top musical act in the U.S. for a third total week, and for the first time since July 2015, as his new set Championships launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 229,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music.

The Artist 100, which launched in July 2014, measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

Mill, who leaps from No. 76 on the Artist 100, also rules the chart thanks to his dominance on the Billboard Hot 100, where he charts 16 tracks, 15 of which are from Championships. The highest-charting song, "Going Bad," featuring Drake, debuts at No. 6, marking Mill's first top 10.

Rounding out the Artist 100's top five, Ariana Grande holds at No. 2, as her first Hot 100 No. 1, "Thank U, Next," blasts back to the summit following the arrival of its official video; BTS jumps 7-3; Queen drops to No. 4 after three total weeks on top; and Halsey rises 10-5.

Just below the Artist 100's top five, Lil Baby leaps 26-8, reaching a new peak as his album Street Gossip debuts at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 88,000 units. He previously peaked at No. 16 on the Artist 100 in October.
