The rise earns Cardi B her third chart topper and the eighth for Ozuna, Seven of his No. 1s have arrived in 2018.
Notably, DJ Snake is the first European DJ/producer to lead the Latin Airplay chart in 2018. He's also the first DJ/producer to be No. 1 in a lead role on a track since Willy William -- another DJ/producer of French descent -- topped the list with "Mi Gente." The latter, credited to J Balvin and Willy William (and featuring Beyoncé on a popular remix), was No. 1 for 12 nonconsecutive weeks between Sept. 16 and Dec. 16, 2017.
Sebastian Yatra, Mau & Ricky Hit Top 10: Over on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart, Sebastian Yatra’s “Ya No Tiene Novio,” his first collaboration with brothers Mau & Ricky, lifts 11-9 thanks to a 21 percent boost in audience (to 9.1 million)
The track is Yatra’s second to reach the tier, after “Sutra,” also a collaboration, featuring Dalmata, peaked at No. 7 (March 31- dated chart.)
The move earns Mau & Ricky their first top 10 on the tally. The Venezuelan duo’s first chart entry, “Mi Mala,” a collaboration with Karol G, ranked in the top 25 for six weeks.
6ix9ine Debuts: Meanwhile, on the Hot Latin Songs chart, 6ix9ine debuts at No. 11 with “MALA” featuring Anuel AA. The song follows 6ix9ine’s earlier hit, the chart-topping “BEBE,” also featuring Anuel AA (No. 1 for one week, Sept. 15).
The new track enters the list mostly on the strength of streams. It earned 5 million U.S. clicks in the week ending Nov. 29, which grants him a top 10 debut on the Latin Streaming Songs tally, opening at No. 9.
Jose Feliciano Returns: Lastly, Jose Feliciano’s seasonal favorite “Feliz Navidad” climbs Latin Streaming Songs (14-5) and Latin Digital Song Sales (8-3) as we march towards Christmas.
The tune, released in 1970, tallied 7.49 million streams in the week ending Nov. 29 (up 79 percent) and sold 3,000 downloads (up 75 percent).
