Though the brunt of the accolades for Taylor Swift's lead Reputation single "Look What You Made Me Do" occurred in 2017, the song has one more trick up its sleeve: it's the No. 1 song on LyricFind's year-end top 20 list of the most-viewed lyrics of 2018.
The song tops the licensed lyrics provider's top 20 list, revealed today (Dec. 6) via Billboard. Weekly, Billboard.com hosts the LyricFind Global and LyricFind U.S. charts, which rank the fastest momentum-gaining tracks in lyric-search queries globally and in the U.S., respectively, provided by LyricFind. The Global chart includes queries from all countries except the U.S. The company is the world's leader in licensed lyrics, with data provided by more than 4,000 publishers and utilized by more than 100 services, including Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, Microsoft, Yahoo, SoundHound and iHeartRadio.
By attaining the No. 1 spot, LyricFind is saying that the lyrics of "Look What You Made Me Do" appeared the most globally across the Internet in 2018, whether that's by searches on licensed websites, via articles that showcase the lyrics or other licensed usages. The 2018 data set occurred during the period of Jan. 1-Dec. 3, 2018.
