Tory Lanez's 'Love Me Now' Debuts at No. 1 on Top Rap Albums Chart
Tory Lanez debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart (dated Nov. 10) with Love Me Now. The set earned 54,000 equivalent album units in its first week, week ending Nov. 1, according to Nielsen Music.
Lanez's third studio full-length is his second career Top Rap Albums leader. His debut set, I Told You, started at No. 1 in 2016, while his sophomore effort, Memories Don't Lie, reached No. 2 in March.
As Now arrives, the album launches three of its songs onto the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart: "Talk to Me," with Rich the Kid, leads the trio with its No. 36 debut, while "Ferris Wheel," featuring Trippie Redd, and "Drip Drip Drip," featuring Meek Mill, begin at Nos. 49 and 50, respectively.
The three tracks push Lanez to nine career entries on the list. His earned his best showing in 2016 with "Luv," which reached No. 4 that November.
"Talk" also debuts at No. 76 on the Billboard Hot 100 and maintains its No. 13 peak on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. On the latter, the collaboration gains 11 percent to 15.1 million in format audience in the week ending Nov. 4.
