Who else makes notable Hot 100 chart moves this week?
"Trip," Ella Mai
Mai moves to within a notch of her second Hot 100 top 10, as "Trip" jumps 16-11 as the chart's top Sales Gainer. The ascent accompanies the No. 5 debut of her debut self-titled LP on the Billboard 200, where it starts with 69,000 equivalent album units earned, according to Nielsen Music.
Mai reached No. 5 on the Hot 100 in July with her first entry, "Boo'd Up."
"Trip" also takes over at No. 1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart (3-1), where "Boo'd Up" spent two weeks on top in July.
"Taki Taki," DJ Snake feat. Selena Gomez, Ozuna & Cardi B
The all-star collab vaults 31-16 as the top Streaming Gainer on the Hot 100, as it soars 20-6 on Streaming Songs, as well as 26-19 on Digital Song Sales. In the first full tracking week (ending Oct. 18) following the Oct. 9 arrival of its official video, the song grew by 45 percent to 27.5 million U.S. streams and by 21 percent to 11,000 downloads sold.
The song marks the first top 20 Hot 100 hit for Ozuna, DJ Snake's sixth, Cardi B's ninth and Gomez's 13th.
"Taki" leaps 22-13 on the Latin Pop Songs airplay chart, and will be promoted to mainstream pop radio beginning the week of Nov. 5.
"Beautiful," Bazzi feat. Camila Cabello
Bazzi earns his second top 40 Hot 100 hit, as the track surges 47-32. Following the Oct. 15 arrival of its official video, the track bounds 41-20 on Digital Song Sales (10,000, up 47 percent), re-enters Streaming Songs at No. 42 (13.1 million U.S. streams, up 10 percent) and debuts on Radio Songs at No. 47 (26.9 million in audience, up 13 percent).
Bazzi rose to No. 11 on the Hot 100 in April with his debut hit, "Mine." He's also spent the year opening on tour for Cabello and Justin Timberlake.
Cabello, meanwhile, tallies her fifth top 40 Hot 100 hit (outpacing the four that Fifth Harmony scored while she was a member through December 2016):
No. 20, "I Know What You Did Last Summer," with Shawn Mendes (Jan. 30, 2016)
No. 4, "Bad Things," with Machine Gun Kelly (Feb. 11, 2017)
No. 1 (one week), "Havana," feat Young Thug (Jan. 27, 2018)
No. 6, "Never Be the Same" (May 12, 2018)
No. 32, "Beautiful," Bazzi feat. Cabello (Oct. 27, 2018)
Cabello concurrently enters the Pop Songs airplay chart (where "Beautiful" pushes 17-16) with ballad "Consequences" at No. 32. The third radio single from her debut solo album Camila follows "Havana" and "Same," which led the list for seven and three weeks, respectively.
