A Sept. 26 video, which featured guitarist/vocalist Mike Shinoda speaking to fans, was watched over a half-million times.

Linkin Park returns to the top of a Billboard chart, as the band leads Billboard’s Top Facebook Live Videos tally for September 2018.

The chart, the latest of which recaps September 2018 activity, is a monthly look at the widest-reaching and most-reacted-to videos posted by musicians on Facebook Live, as tracked by media analytics company Shareablee. Rankings are determined by a formula that blends reactions, comments, shares and first-seven-days views.

Linkin Park leads the list for the first time with a Sept. 26 clip in which guitarist/vocalist Mike Shinoda updated fans on the latest happenings with both the band and his solo career.

Shinoda also addressed the band’s late frontman Chester Bennington, who died July 20, 2017. “There’s a difference between celebrating and being stuck,” he said during a conversation in which he said he hoped fans would eventually be able to move on from Bennington’s passing and hoped they could feel the same way for him and the rest of the band. “And I don’t want you [the fans] to be stuck.”

The 13-minute video received the most metrics in three of the four chart categories, leading the way in reactions (36,000), comments (17,000) and views (681,000 in its first seven days), according to Shareablee.

Linkin Park’s video was followed at No. 2 by Michael Buble, whose Sept. 27 live stream announced the upcoming release of Buble’s new album, Love, on Nov. 16. Buble’s video, in which he also announced its first single, “When I Fall in Love,” was reacted to 18,000 times and was watched 351,000 times in its first seven days.
