The band extends its chart-topping span atop the Hot 100 to over 11 years.
Maroon 5's "Girls Like You," featuring Cardi B, ascends to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Sept. 29), as previously reported, and frontman Adam Levine is celebrating the group's return to the top.
"Reaching this milestone again is a dream for this band," Levine tells Billboard.
Maroon 5, which is set to play the Super Bowl LII halftime show (although the NFL has not officially announced the news yet), earns its fourth Hot 100 No. 1, extending its career chart-topping span to over 11 years. "Makes Me Wonder" led for three weeks beginning in May 2007, followed by "Moves Like Jagger," featuring Christina Aguilera (four weeks, 2011) and "One More Night," (nine, 2012).
