Lauv leads Billboard's Emerging Artists chart (dated Sept. 8) for a 10th week, as the pop singer-songwriter's breakthrough single "I Like Me Better" reaches a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 27.

In its 29th week on the Hot 100, "Better" tallied 50 million radio audience impressions (up 3 percent), according to Nielsen Music, as it rises 16-14 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart (a new peak). After reaching No. 7 on the Pop Songs airplay tally in July, the track continues to scale Adult Pop Songs, reaching the top five this week (6-5), and Adult Contemporary (20-19).

"Better" earned 8 million U.S. streams (up 7 percent) and 11,000 downloads sold in the tracking week, as it pushes 27-26 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

The Emerging Artists chart ranks the most popular developing artists of the week, using the same formula as the all-encompassing Billboard Artist 100, which measures artist activity across multiple Billboard charts, including the Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the Social 50. (The Artist 100 lists the most popular acts, overall, each week.) However, the Emerging Artists chart excludes acts that have notched a top 25 entry on either the Hot 100 or Billboard 200, as well as artists that have achieved two or more top 10s on Billboard's "Hot" song genre charts and/or consumption-based "Top" album genre rankings.

Bryce Vine enters the top five of Emerging Artists for the first time, lifting 7-4, as the singer's debut single "Drew Barrymore" ascends 57-46 on the Hot 100, reaching a new peak in its third week on the chart. It also rises to No. 16 on Rhythmic Songs and No. 19 on Pop Songs.

Rounding out the Emerging Artists top five, Louis Tomlinson jumps 8-2, lovelytheband dips 2-3 and Queen Naija falls 4-5.

Elsewhere, five-piece indie folk rock group Murder By Death debuts at No. 10, as the group's new LP The Other Shore debuts at No. 4 on the Americana/Folk Albums chart and at No. 33 on Top Rock Albums with 5,000 equivalent album units.
