"Delicate" is Swift's seventh total Adult Pop Songs No. 1, the fourth-best sum since the list launched in Billboard magazine in 1996. Maroon 5 leads with 12 No. 1s, followed by P!nk (nine) and Katy Perry (eight).
Here's a recap of Swift's seven Adult Pop Songs No. 1s prior to "Delicate": "I Knew You Were Trouble." (for one week, in 2013); "Shake It Off" (eight weeks, 2014); "Blank Space" (six, 2015); "Style" (two, 2015); "Bad Blood," featuring Kendrick Lamar (three, 2015); and "Wildest Dreams" (four, 2015).
Swift's five Adult Pop Songs No. 1s between "Trouble" and "Delicate" were released from her 2014 album 1989 (her LP ahead of reputation), as the set tied Perry's Teenage Dream (2010-12) for the most Adult Pop Songs No. 1s from a single set.
"Delicate" concurrently climbs 7-5 on the Pop Songs airplay chart. "Look" led for a week in October, while "Ready" and "End Game" rose to Nos. 12 and 10, respectively.
Reputation debuted atop the Dec. 2, 2017-dated Billboard 200 albums chart and reigned for four weeks. It spends its 33rd week on the ranking (dated July 7), at No. 33, with all its frames logged in the tally's top 40.
The Adult Pop Songs chart measures total weekly plays, as tabulated by Nielsen Music, among its reporting panel of 87 adult top 40 stations. Pop Songs reflects airplay on 169 mainstream top 40 stations.
All charts will update tomorrow (July 3) on Billboard.com.
