The set starts at No. 1 on Top Rock Albums, Alternative Albums and Hard Rock Albums.

Breaking Benjamin triples up atop Billboard's Top Rock Albums, Alternative Albums and Hard Rock Albums charts for the third time, as new set Ember debuts at No. 1 on all three lists. The LP launches with 88,000 equivalent album units (80,000 in traditional album sales) in the week ending April 19, according to Nielsen Music.

Ember is the Ben Burnley-led act's third No. 1 on both the Top Rock Albums and Alternative Albums charts. 2006's Phobia became its first leader on the former, followed by 2015's Dark Before Dawn. On Alternative Albums, the band previously triumphed with Dawn and 2009's Dear Agony.

Breaking Benjamin banks its fourth No. 1 on Hard Rock Albums; in addition to Agony, Dawn and Ember, the group launched its 2011 greatest hits compilation Shallow Bay: The Best of Breaking Benjamin atop the list.

The band previously ruled the three rock album charts concurrently with Dawn on charts dated July 11 and 25, 2015. The act is the first to triple up at No. 1 on the surveys simultaneously since Foo Fighters, whose Concrete and Gold achieved the feat on Oct. 7, 2017.

Ember enters the all-genre Billboard 200 at No. 3, marking the band's fourth top five title, a sum that includes one No. 1, Dawn, in 2015.

Meanwhile, nine tracks from the 12-song Ember populate the Hot Rock Songs chart (which blends streaming, radio airplay and sales data). Lead single "Red Cold River" leads the way at No. 14, while "Torn in Two" is the top debut at No. 25, assisted by the April 13 release of its official video (the day of the album's release).

Breaking Benjamin had previously posted as many as three simultaneous entries on the 50-position Hot Rock Songs chart.

"River" reached Nos. 2 and 13 on the Mainstream Rock Songs and all-rock-genre Rock Airplay charts dated March 31, respectively. A second Ember single has not yet been announced.
