Tech N9ne breaks the record for the most top 10 albums by any artist on Billboard’s 14-year-old Top Rap Albums chart as his 19th, Planet, debuts at No. 7. The set, which arrives on the chart dated March 17, pushes the rapper above the sums of Gucci Mane and E-40 -- each with 18 top 10 albums -- since the ranking began in January 2004.

Tech N9ne made his Billboard chart debut in 2001, before the Top Rap Albums list began. His album Anghellic reached No. 50 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and dented a handful of other tallies. In total on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, he's collected 30 entries (including Planet), while on Top Rap Albums, he's earned 26.

Send Up a ‘Flair’: Meanwhile, Offset & Metro Boomin’s “Ric Flair Drip” rockets 16-8 on Hot Rap Songs, entering the chart’s top 10 for the first time. The boost gives Offset, a member of the rap trio Migos, his first top 10 on the chart as a solo act, while hitmaking producer Metro Boomin collects his second as a billed artist.

“Drip” benefits from the first full tracking week for its official music video, which was released March 1. The clip powers the collaboration to 25.6 million U.S. streams for the week ending March 8, according to Nielsen, a gain of 58 percent. The surge also propels the track 16-6 on R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs.

“Drip” likewise records gains in weekly downloads (14,000; up 81 percent week-over-week), prompting its 23-13 hike on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales and holds at No. 28 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, though with a 2 percent growth in audience at 8 million in the week ending March 11, according to Nielsen Music.

Happy Start for “Sad!”: Also on Hot Rap Songs, XXXTentacion debuts at No. 9 with “SAD!,” giving the singer/rapper his best start among five entries to date. “SAD!” just outpaces the No. 10 start of his other top 10 hit, “Jocelyn Flores” last September.

“SAD” begins at No. 5 on R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs (26.5 million U.S. streams) and at No. 11 on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales (15,000 downloads sold).

The single previews the 20-year-old’s forthcoming second full-length album, ?, due March 16. ? follows his debut LP, 17, which debuted at No. 2 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and held the rank for three weeks.
