Blac Youngsta Makes Billboard Hot 100 Debut with 'Booty'

The rapper also enters the top 10 of the Emerging Artists chart.

Memphis, Tennessee-based rapper Blac Youngsta, 27, earns his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated March 10), as& "Booty" debuts at No. 81.

"Booty," which also reaches a new No. 41 high on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (after debuting at No. 48 on the Feb. 17-dated list), logged 23.6 million radio audience impressions (up 15 percent) in the week ending March 4, according to Nielsen Music, as it debuts at No. 46 on the Radio Songs chart.

The song also earned 5.6 million U.S. streams (up 29 percent) and 4,000 downloads sold (up 70 percent) in the week ending March 1.

The track's profile was boosted by Blac Youngsta's new album, 223, which opens at No. 17 on Top Rap Albums, No. 22 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 42 on the Billboard 200 with 12,000 equivalent album units.

The official music video for "Booty" was released Feb. 6 and has drawn 2 million global views on YouTube. Thanks to his various chart successes, Blac Youngsta (born Samuel Benson) concurrently vaults 29-6 on the Emerging Artists chart.

"Booty," released on Epic Records, marks the rapper's first solo appearance on any Billboard chart. He first reached a song ranking last July, when "Hip Hopper," featuring Lil Yachty, hit No. 21 on the Hot 100's Bubbling Under chart.
