Sofi Tukker Hits Top Five on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs

Sofi Tukker scores its first top five hit on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated Jan. 27), as "Best Friend," featuring NERVO, The Knocks and Alisa Ueno, rises 6-5.
The top Airplay and Streaming Gainer, "Best" banked 24 million in all-format radio audience (up 13 percent) and 3.4 million U.S. streams (up 88 percent) in the tracking week, according to Nielsen Music. The song tops Dance/Mix Show Airplay for a second week and debuts at No. 23 on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs. It additionally bullets at No. 17 on Pop Songs and No. 18 on Alternative Songs.
Further on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Gryffin (Los Angeles-based producer Dan Griffith) glides 39-20 with "Nobody Compares to You," featuring Katie Pearlman (passing its prior best rank, No. 26, upon its Oct. 28 debut). The chart's top Digital Gainer soared by 413 percent to 1,000 sold in the week ending Jan. 18, following the release of remixes Jan. 12.
On Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Charlie Puth claims his third top 10 with "How Long" (12-10). Last fall, he topped the chart for nine weeks with his first No. 1, "Attention." Originally a pure pop track, "How" was remixed by Throttle, EDX and Jerry Folk, among others. (The Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart measures radio airplay on a select group of full-time dance stations, along with plays during mix shows on more than 80 top 40-formatted reporters).
