P!nk's 'What About Us' Hits No. 1 on Adult Contemporary Chart

Ryan Aylsworth

P!nk has earned the most AC leaders, four, of any act since her first in 2013.

P!nk pockets her fourth No. 1 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart, as "What About Us" rises 2-1 on the tally dated Jan. 27.

P!nk previously topped the chart with "Just Like Fire," for nine weeks beginning Oct. 8, 2016; "Just Give Me a Reason," featuring Nate Ruess, for nine weeks beginning July 6, 2013; and "Try," for one week (April 27, 2013).

In that nearly five-year span since her first week on top with "Try," P!nk boasts the most leaders among all acts. Shawn Mendes and Taylor Swift follow with three each in that stretch.

The Adult Contemporary chart measures total weekly plays, as tabulated by Nielsen Music, among its reporting panel of 80 AC stations.

"What About Us" became P!nk's ninth No. 1 on sister chart Adult Pop Songs, for two weeks beginning Nov. 25, lifting her past Katy Perry for the most leaders among women in the survey's history.

"What About Us" is the lead single from P!nk's album Beautiful Trauma, which launched as her second No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (dated Nov. 4). The title-cut second single has become her 15th top 10 on Adult Pop Songs (Jan. 20).

On the all-genre airplay, streaming and sales-based Billboard Hot 100, "What About Us" reached No. 13 (Nov. 4). Check back later today for highlights of the new, Jan. 27-dated Hot 100's top 10.
