Eminem's “River” (Interscope/Universal), featuring Ed Sheeran, gives the rapper his ninth U.K. No. 1 single, climbing 2-1.

The soundtrack of The Greatest Showman (Atlantic/Warner) starts a second week atop the album chart. The Official Charts Company also reports a 986 percent week-on-week surge in combined unit sales of the Cranberries' album catalog, following the news of vocalist Dolores O'Riordon's passing.

Eminem's tally of chart-topping U.K. singles, which began in 2000 with “The Real Slim Shady,” is a record for a rapper. “River” climbs to the top as south London rapper Ramz' “Barking” (Polydor/Universal) climbs again, 4-2. Sheeran's “Perfect” (Asylum/Warner), No. 1 on the singles chart for the last six weeks, falls to No. 3.

“I Miss You” (Atlantic/Warner Music) by Clean Bandit featuring Julia Michaels climbs again 5-4, and Bruno Mars' “Finesse” (Atlantic/Warner), featuring Cardi B, improves two places on its No. 7 debut last week. Camila Cabello's “Never Be The Same” (Epic/Syco Music/Sony) climbs 29-7 and “Tip Toe” (Warner Bros./Warner Music) by Jason Derulo featuring French Montana is up 12-8, its first top 10 appearance in its tenth chart week.

The Greatest Showman had combined units of 40,000 to retain the album crown, while Cabello's self-titled debut set starts at No. 2. Sheeran's ÷ (Divide) falls 2-3 as the Eminem album Revival improves 5-4, changing places with Sam Smith's The Thrill Of It All (Capitol/Universal). Dua Lipa's self-titled Warner Bros. album jumps 20-10, after the Jan. 13 nominations for the 2018 BRIT Awards gave her five nominations.

Following O'Riordon's death, Stars -- The Best of the Cranberries 1992-2002 (Universal Island) reaches a new peak of No. 16, four places higher than on its 2002 release. The band's combined singles units rise 1134 percent; their highest-ranked single is “Zombie” at No. 45.
