Plus, Justin Timberlake jumps 46-11, thanks to new single "Filthy."

Cardi B rises to a new No. 3 high, from No. 11, on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Jan. 20), as her latest hit song, "Finesse," with Bruno Mars, vaults 35-3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Artist 100, which launched in July 2014, measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

"Finesse" earns the Hot 100's Greatest Gainer honors in all three metrics: streaming, digital song sales and radio airplay, as the track blasted to 51 million airplay audience impressions, 38 million U.S. streams (good for a No. 1 debut on Streaming Songs) and 87,000 downloads sold in the tracking week, according to Nielsen Music, after the Jan. 4 arrival of its new duet version; "Finesse" was previously available as a Mars solo song on his 2016 album 24K Magic.

Cardi B's new Artist 100 peak is also powered by her five other songs on the 100: G-Eazy's "No Limit," featuring A$AP Rocky and Cardi B, holds at No. 5 (after reaching No. 4); "MotorSport," with Migos and Nicki Minaj, dips to No. 10 (following its No. 6 peak); "Bartier Cardi," featuring 21 Savage, returns to its No. 14 peak; former No. 1 "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)" ranks at No. 17; and "La Modelo," with Ozuna, places at No. 59 (down from its No. 52 highpoint).

Streaming accounts for the greatest share of Cardi B's Artist 100 points (39 percent), followed by digital song sales (33 percent). The MC had previously peaked at No. 6 on the Artist 100 in October, when "Bodak Yellow" was atop the Hot 100.

Ed Sheeran holds as the top musical act in the U.S., as the singer-songwriter scores his ninth total week at No. 1 on the Artist 100. His ballad "Perfect" tops the Hot 100 for a sixth week. Only Taylor Swift (36 weeks), Drake (25), The Weeknd (14), Justin Bieber (11) and Adele (10) have spent more time at No. 1 than Sheeran.

Rounding out the Artist 100's top five, Imagine Dragons keep at No. 2; Mars pushes 8-4 (also thanks in part to "Finesse"); and Post Malone holds at No. 5. Among other Artist 100 moves, Justin Timberlake vaults 46-11 on the strength of his new single "Filthy," which debuts at No. 9 on the Hot 100. Timberlake peaked at No. 5 on the Artist 100 in May 2016.
