Gucci Mane scores his record-tying 18th top 10 on Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart, as El Gato: The Human Glacier debuts at No. 9 (on the chart dated Jan. 6) with 21,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music.

The rapper matches the top 10 sums of E-40 and Tech N9ne, dating to the list’s inception on June 26, 2004.

Gucci Mane’s run began with his 2005 debut studio album, Trap House. The LP, which generated the breakout single "Icy," peaked at No. 10 that year. The Atlanta native continued his success in the ensuing years by placing eight top 10s by the decade’s end, culminating in his first No. 1, The State vs. Radric Davis, which reigned in the final week of 2009.

Beyond State, Gucci Mane has ruled Top Rap Albums on two other occasions: Everybody Looking commanded for one week in August 2016, while Mr. Davis topped the survey for a single frame in November.
