Plus, moves for Kaskade, Sam Smith and Armin van Buuren.

Halsey heralds her first No. 1 as a lead artist on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, as "Bad at Love" lifts 2-1.

(The new Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart is dated Jan. 3, marking a rare Wednesday-dated chart, instead of the usual Saturday, as Billboard is adjusting how it dates its charts and magazine issues.)

Halsey earns her second total leader on the list. She spent a record 20 weeks at No. 1 as featured on The Chainsmokers' "Closer," beginning in September 2016. She boasts one other top 10, having reached No. 5 with her own "Now or Never" in July.

"Bad," originally a mid-tempo track, was remixed by Dillon Francis, Hook 'N Sling and Generik, among others. (The Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart measures radio airplay on a select group of full-time dance stations, along with plays during mix shows on more than 80 top 40-formatted reporters.)

"Bad" became Halsey's first leader on the Dance Club Songs chart dated Dec. 16.

THEY 'LIKE' IT: Continuing with Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Kaskade collides with the top 10 for the 15th time, as "Nobody Like You" leaps 22-9. Since the chart began in August 2003, only two acts have more top 10s than Kaskade. Here is a rundown of the all-time leaders:

Most Top 10s on Dance/Mix Show Airplay
24, David Guetta
24, Rihanna
15, Calvin Harris
15, Kaskade
15, Katy Perry
14, Justin Bieber
13, Britney Spears
12, Pitbull
11, Beyonce
10, Tiesto

HELLO, TOP 10: Sam Smith also sails into the Dance/Mix Show Airplay top 10 with "Too Good at Goodbyes" (11-10). It's Smith's third top 10 and first since 2014, when "Latch" (by Disclosure featuring Smith) hit No. 2 and his own "Stay With Me" reached No. 4. "Good" was remixed by Galantis and Snakehips, among others.

'2017' WRAP-UP: Armin van Buuren enters Top Dance/Electronic Album Sales at No. 4 with A State of Trance Year Mix 2017. The set sold 1,000 copies, according to Nielsen Music, and extends the trance king's record for the most entries, 37, in the chart's history, which dates to 2001. Tiesto ranks second with 21.
