East is the seventh artist to notch a first No. 1 on the airplay tally in 2017.

Anderson East tops Billboard's Adult Alternative Songs radio airplay chart (dated Dec. 23) with "All on My Mind" (3-1), his first leader on the list.

The track is East's first No. 1 on any Billboard chart, besting the No. 2 peak of his album Delilah on Heatseekers Albums (Jan. 23, 2016). "Mind" already became the 30-year-old Alabama native's best-charting song, following the No. 18 peak of his debut Adult Alternative Songs hit "Satisfy Me" (Sept. 26, 2015).

East is the seventh act to notch a first Adult Alternative Songs No. 1 in 2017, following Mondo Cozmo, Rag'n'Bone Man, Portugal. The Man, Dan Auerbach, Arcade Fire and The National. That tally beats 2016's six and marks the highest total since 2014, when eight acts reached the top of the chart for the first time.

Concurrently, "Mind" reaches a new peak on the all-rock-format Rock Airplay chart, rising 33-31 with 2 million audience impressions (up 1 percent), according to Nielsen Music. It's East's first song to reach the ranking.

Encore, East's fourth studio album and second with a major label (Atlantic), is due Jan. 12.
