The country power couple debuts at No. 15 and 16.
Faith Hill debuts at No. 15 and husband Tim McGraw re-enters at No. 16 on the Billboard Artist 100 (dated Dec. 9), powered by the chart debut of their first collaborative album, The Rest of Our Life.
The Artist 100, which launched in July 2014, measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
Hill and McGraw's Life begins at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart and No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200 with 104,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music. The set is Hill's fourth No. 1 on Top Country Albums and McGraw's 16th, which ties him with Garth Brooks and Merle Haggard for the third-most leaders in the chart's nearly 54-year history. (George Strait leads with 26, followed by Willie Nelson, with 17.)
