If Horan hits No. 1 on the Billboard 200, he'll become the third member of One Direction to score a chart-topping album.
Niall Horan is on track to bow at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200 chart with his debut solo album, Flicker. Industry forecasters expect the set, which was released on Oct. 20 through Capitol Records, to launch with around 150,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Oct. 26.
If Flicker starts at No. 1, Horan will become the third member of the group One Direction to notch a No. 1 album, following Zayn (Mind of Mine, in 2016) and Harry Styles (his self-titled debut, earlier this year).
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the new Nov. 11-dated Billboard 200 chart (where Horan will likely debut at No. 1) is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s websites on Sunday, Oct. 29.
