The “Crew” momentum is strongest at radio as it bullets at No. 5 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and claims 25 million in format audience in the week ending Oct. 15, up 4 percent. The collaboration also builds at Rhythmic radio, moving 17-16 on the Rhythmic Songs airplay chart with a 7 percent bump in weekly spins.
Khalid’s ‘Location?’ — No. 1: Meanwhile, Khalid takes the crown on the Adult R&B Songs airplay chart as “Location” steps 2-1 in its 17th charting week. The cut marks the R&B newcomer’s first leader on the chart as it records a 7 percent gain in plays.
“Location” enjoys a warm reception across the radio spectrum, concurrently lifting 10-7 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay with a 20 percent rise in audience to 18 million for the week, enough for the chart’s Greatest Gainer prize.
21 to 10: As 21 Savage ascends to the pinnacle of the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs via his feature on Post Malone’s “Rockstar,” the hitmaker achieves a first at radio: His “Bank Account” hits the top 10 of R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay with an 11-10 bump. The track notches 16 million in audience for the week, a gain of 5 percent.
“Rockstar” meanwhile, rides 24-19 on the chart with a 33 percent surge in weekly audience to 12 million.
