Niall Horan becomes the first member of One Direction to top Billboard's Adult Pop Songs radio airplay chart as a soloist, as "Slow Hands" lifts 2-1 on the tally (dated Oct. 21).
It's his second trip to the top overall, as 1D ruled the chart for a week in 2014 with "Story of My Life."
Previously, former One Direction member Zayn came closest to topping Adult Pop Songs, when "I Don't Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker)," with Taylor Swift, reached No. 2 in April. As for the boy band's other three members, Harry Styles hit a No. 12 high with "Sign of the Times" in July; Liam Payne keeps at his No. 15 best with "Strip That Down," featuring Quavo; and, Louis Tomlinson peaked at No. 31 in September with "Back to You," featuring Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals.
